Jennifer Truesdale is the Founder and CEO of The Tru Beauty Influence Salon and Event Space. Not merely an experienced hair stylist, Jennifer achieved a Diploma in Esthetics, Certified Levels I & II in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki and Certified in Psychohairapy. Psychohairpy is a community based mental health model that combines psychological support with hair care.

The stylist's chair can be a place to release your concerns, anxieties and pain. Whilst hair professionals are not mental health professionals, the principles behind Psychohairapy trains them to provide a safe space, active listening, using hair as a means of building cultural identity and healing, (especially amongst Black Women) and provide accessible micro-counseling to members of the community.

Jennifer believes in supporting small businesses and inviting proactive energy in the salon. By offering an event space for wellness themed events, Jennifer contributes to the success and longevity and success of local small businesses.
